CSCC Working Group on Quality Management (QM)
| Overview: | The CSCC Working Group on Quality Management (QM) is a group of CSCC members interested in advancing knowledge of quality management among CSCC membership and assisting with development of educational activities to address knowledge gaps in quality management. |
| Purpose: | 1. Promote leadership in quality management in the laboratory, with a focus on patient safety 2. Identify key competencies in quality leadership and management for Clinical Chemists 3. Develop educational activities to address gaps in quality management knowledge 4. Promote / develop tools for use by laboratories to reduce errors in the laboratory 5. Recommend / develop strategies to improve quality in laboratory performance and patient safety |
